Two Saabs and two rallies on the same day, 22nd of June is going to be busy for our Saab crews. Tyrone Lawton will be contesting this weekends MIldland rally in his Malbrad C900 8v. This year the event will be held solely at MIRA testing ground taking in 60 miles of challenging roads only normally available to the car manufacturers.http://www.rallyofthemidlands.com/
Steve higgins will be at the same time smoking the saab flag on the RAC rally championship round at Carlisle in his white Saab 2 stroke. 'Saabs on the Marches' Driving tour 26th to 28th June 2015
A leisurely tour of the Brecon Beacons and the Wye valley in beautiful south Wales, starting at the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Newport, with a meet and greet on the afternoon of Friday 26th June, followed by an evening three course hot buffet. Saturday the 27th will be spent touring the Brecon Beacons then returning once again to the Hampton hotel for an evening three course hot buffet meal. The tour will be continued on Sunday the 28th June finishing after lunch, allowing plenty of time to travel home.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2014
Having considered the tight timing (as raised by Alistair Philpott) between delivery of the Driver and the time limit for the submission of items for inclusion on the Agenda and Nominations, the Board have agreed to extend the date to 12:00 on 22nd September 2014; this date has been selected to enable the Agenda to be published in the Driver.
The Annual General Meeting of the Club will commence at 12:00 on Saturday 25th of October 2014, at Humberside Saab, Priory Way, Hull, HU4 7BD. Humberside Saab can be contacted on 01482 351129.
Members are reminded that items for inclusion on the Agenda, and Nominations for the Board of Directors, must be received by the Company Secretary no later than 12:00 on 22nd September 2014.
Under clause 18 (as amended) of the articles of association the text of any matter to be discussed at the AGM must be signed by two Members and sent to the Company Secretary by the above date.

14 Ebor Saab members set off on Friday 10 May to make their separate ways to the assembly point at Gretna Green for what was billed as a Scottish Mystery Weekend, the mystery being only the organisers knew the itinerary. The mystery began to unfold on Saturday morning with a drive along gloriously empty roads under blue skies up into rural Scotland to visit the Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Temple at Eskdalemuir (nobody expected a visit the foothills of the Himalayas).

There is no formal Branch currently in operation (largely as a result of the sheer geographical spread of members across this area) and therefore no regular meetings.
Where possible, there is usually an SOC 'presence' at gatherings across the region organised by other clubs, motor museums or advertised on web forums (principally UKSaabs).
