There are a couple of things on the system that will not work if we do not have an up to date email for you.
- Password reset. The system cannot send you the verification code.
- Classified Ads. You cannot be contacted by anyone interested in your ad or you may not be able to contact an advertiser.
The software used requires an email address so where no email address has been supplied an email address is created using the membership number e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . If you see one of these you know that there is no point in replying to it.
To check and update your email address. Login to the site. Having logged in you are taken to a Profile page. On the page there is an Edit Profile button. There you will be able to change any of your details. Important note! Any changes to your email address or other contact details should also be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . We do not yet have a mechanism for automatically synchronising the membership details held on the site and those held by HMCA who process memberships for us.

If you are logged in you can get to your profile at any time via the Update Your Profile link in the Members menu

Please take the time to check your email address and update it if necessary. We are pleased to have many members who have been with us a long time. In these cases we may have never had an email address from you.
If you would rather not let 'yet another site' have your email address then there is no obligation. But please be aware that you will not be able to use Classified ads either as a seller or buyer and that Forgot Password will not work. You could put your contact detail in a classified ad itself but that might be missing the point!

14 Ebor Saab members set off on Friday 10 May to make their separate ways to the assembly point at Gretna Green for what was billed as a Scottish Mystery Weekend, the mystery being only the organisers knew the itinerary. The mystery began to unfold on Saturday morning with a drive along gloriously empty roads under blue skies up into rural Scotland to visit the Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Temple at Eskdalemuir (nobody expected a visit the foothills of the Himalayas).
