The Shuttleworth Collection is a fascinating and unique museum at Old Warden Aerodrome in Bedfordshire, England.

It is renowned for its impressive array of vintage aircraft, classic vehicles, and heritage artefacts.
The collection includes some of the oldest airworthy aircraft in the world, such as the 1909 Blériot XI, the world’s oldest flying aeroplane. You’ll also find a range of aircraft from different eras, including WWI planes like the 1918 Avro 504K and WWII icons like the 1941 Supermarine Spitfire MK VC2.

The collection also boasts a variety of vintage cars, motorcycles, and even a steam locomobile. Many of the exhibits are maintained in working condition, and visitors can often see the restoration work being carried out by skilled engineers and volunteers.
The Shuttleworth Collection is a Family-Friendly venue. With an on-site play area, restaurant, and the adjacent Swiss Garden, it is a great destination for a family day out.
The Shuttleworth Collection is not just a static museum but a living, breathing celebration of aviation and automotive history. It’s a place where the past comes to life in the most literal sense, offering a unique experience for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. It's a fantastic venue to host our Saab event. It’s highly likely that during the event, we will be able to witness vintage aircraft taking off and landing on the runway adjacent to our event.

Saturday’s format will be static car displays alongside the runway adjacent to the display hangers. All of the Shuttleworth facilities, including the restaurant and the impressive display hangers, will be accessible.
Saturday evening we will host the SAABFEST evening dinner, an informal event where you can enjoy an informal two-course meal in the fabulous Garden Room at Shuttleworth House with friends old and new. There are limited places available for the evening dinner, so please purchase in advance to avoid disappointment.

Sunday’s format will be static car displays, with all of the vehicles lined up in model categories for the best car competition. An award ceremony will finish the day off. Again, all Shuttleworth facilities, including the restaurant and impressive display hangers, will be accessible.

PRE-BOOKING FOR TICKETS HAS NOW CLOSED - BUT DON'T WORRY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PAY AT THE GATE

ebor saab scottish mystery weekend may 2019 1 20190529 190050204414 Ebor Saab members set off on Friday 10 May to make their separate ways to the assembly point at Gretna Green for what was billed as a Scottish Mystery Weekend, the mystery being only the organisers knew the itinerary.
