Ads can be purchased by Members using Classified Ads 'Points'. We hope to enable Non-Members 'Wanted' adverts in future.
Members are given a 1000 points as a starter package. The points you have can be checked by logging in and going to 'My Points' under the CLASSIFIEDS Menu. This allocation last a long time so is pretty much a one time only request.
(In the unlikely event of you using up all your points, more can be requested via firstname.lastname@example.org.)
The allocation of points to new members is, unfortunately, a manual process so new members may find they don't immediately have points. In this case then please contact email@example.com stating your membership number, to request your points package.
Members can create adverts by logging in and then using the menus under 'Classifieds Menu' on the right.
Offered for sale is my beloved 900i Convertible. As much as I love the car and will be very sorry to see it go, she is part of a fleet of 4 and I just don't get the chance to drive it. I was going to sell it last year but drove it in the summer with the roof down, fell in love wth her all over again and couldn't bring myself to do it.
But it sat in the garage this past year and has hardly covered 200 miles so it really does need to go to somone who will love her, care for her and driver her!
She is in good nick for her age and mileage, 1991 on 127k. It could be someone's daily runner with little or no work required. It has some minor rust bubbles in the usual places that will need attention at some point. The engine is strong and in good condition but ideally, the injectors would be stripped down and refurbished to return it to mint. It doesn't use any oil or water.
It's been serviced by my local garage with the more technical stuff dealt with by Russ and Tony at Sarbkar in Liverpool. It had a new MOT this month, was serviced (oil and filters) at the same time and recently had new plugs and a new rear silencer fitted. Alloys are original with a space saver spare.
It's a great car and I would really like it to go to soneone who knows 900s and appreciates them for the classic example of great engineering that they are. Not just some blurt on ebay who doesn't know what they are buying.
I should add the boot lid is not original and is from a Turbo as you can see.
Please feel free to drop me a note or call with any questions you might have.
