Saabs used by key characters in TV programs
A second hand Saab has become the choice of several TV producers recently. Probably because the days of car maufacturers offering their latest models free have long gone. Here are the latest Saabs 'as seen on TV' in starring roles.
Ludwig (October 2024)
How could the BBC not include a Saab as a star in their latest prime time comedy drama? The registration looks like its D11SVB, although it seems to have been made up.

Members of the SAAB Owners Cub receive a copy of the club magazine 'SAAB Driver'. The magazine (A4 size) is a 56 or 64 page colour publication. The magazine carries articles, news, technical, events and many other items. Members get 5 or 6 copies a year. Click Read more for a couple of examples
*Update* The driver back issues page now includes all issues to November 2020.
As a trial we have had a couple of copies of the Driver magazine, or perhaps newsletter would be a better description, from the 1970's scanned. They make for interesting reading!

14 Ebor Saab members set off on Friday 10 May to make their separate ways to the assembly point at Gretna Green for what was billed as a Scottish Mystery Weekend, the mystery being only the organisers knew the itinerary. The mystery began to unfold on Saturday morning with a drive along gloriously empty roads under blue skies up into rural Scotland to visit the Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Temple at Eskdalemuir (nobody expected a visit the foothills of the Himalayas).
South Yorkshire Saab are no longer meeting. If anyone would like to take up the baton in this part of the world please contact Elli Wilson at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
